4Sturdy unit  Sep 07, 2010
Works fine and is durable. As mentioned in other reviews, enjoy the polished steel out of the box, because it will be gone after first use (there may be a way to avoid that), but function trumps form in this case.

5High quality grill basket  Aug 24, 2010
This is our second and hopefully last grill basket. First one was another brand, and we tossed it in the trash after only two months of use. It had a non stick coating that failed, and one of the spot welds broke.

This Weber unit has no spot welds to break, and is constructed out of heavy guage stainless. Simply pre-heat it on the grill before adding your lightly oiled veggies, and it is very easy to clean.

5Fantastic product!!  Aug 10, 2010
HIghly recommend this product from Weber. Dont spend time looking around for other products to grill your vegtables with. This is it, and for those who complain about how its difficult to clean this product to return it to its intial shine....i say to you stop cooking and please stop reviewing any prodocut on this website. For petes sake, your cooking on a grill, if you want to buy products to decorate your kitchen then I certainly would reccomend you overpay for crap at your local bed bath and beyond type stores.

This thing is great, just get it.. that all that needs to be said. Thank you

4Good quality  Jul 20, 2010
Not for smaller grills, takes up a lot of space. Be sure to spray the basket with oil first- it will stick. But that is better than Teflon baskets, since the coating will wear off after awhile and then it's not safe to use. Keep this basket clean and you will likely get years and years of use from it.

4Impressive  Jul 18, 2010
I picked up the Weber wok to complement my new Weber EP-320 gas grill (same as Weber 3751001 Genesis E-320 Propane Gas Grill, Black, but with stainless steel grids).

My former gadget in this area was a black wire basket. For that, I found it expedient to cut up all my vegetables, spray them with olive oil, and microwave them for five minutes before grilling. Otherwise, they tended to burn before cooking. It lasted a number of years, but I did not use it as much as I might have: cleaning the basket was a PITA. Also, you can cook some foods in the Weber wok that you would not want to put into a wire basket.

No, the Weber wok does not come truly clean, but neither do the grids on the gas grill. I can easily get it clean enough in the kitchen sink with a stainless steel sponge. I don't need to pre-nuke the vegetables - I just mix them with some olive oil, salt & pepper in a bowl, then dump them into the wok on the grill. The wok only takes up half the grill, so I can cook the meat at the same time....

Here's a good one: Trader Joes sells a one pound bag of tiny golden potatoes for $2. Put them in the wok 15-20 minutes before the other vegetables. Yum!
