Bought Four Based on Cooked Illustrated Review Sep 07, 2010 Great fry pan. Not too heavy, cooks evenly, cleans like a breeze. I got them with a buy 3 get one free deal which brought the price down to $30, on par with what most other places were selling it for (one store has it for $23). I would have given it five stars if the price was lower.

T-Fal 12 " Professional Saute pan Aug 28, 2010 I ordered this from Amazon for 39.95, S & H was 6.76, Sales Tax was 4.07 .. for a total of 50.82. I dearly love the pan!
I also saw it advertised last Sunday for sale at a local store for 29.99/reg price 34.99. I'm disappointed that Amazon charged
so much. I always buy my books from them at a good discount, so I'm curious as to why this was more than the retail price
of a dept store. I could have least saved S&H and $5 by buying local. Next time I won't go to Amazon as a first source.

amazon price is a little high Aug 23, 2010 I haven't got this frying pan yet, but I must say that amazon lists the retail price as $39.99, and claims it is selling it at a discount of $5, offering it for $35. I have not seen this for sale anywhere for the $39.99 they claim. It is for sale everywhere at $34.99, the same as amazon, so there is no discount. In fact, the latest "cook's illustrated" magazine lists the retail price as $34.99. There is nothing wrong with selling something for full price, but I don't like a full price that claims to be a "sale" price.
