Sizes are really messed up! Jul 05, 2010 I ordered from the "As Seen on TV" seller and I actually got the large (8.5 inch) diameter one instead of the 6.5 inch one that I needed! So the title and description are really messed up, and I have no idea how anyone can guess what they are going to end up with.
But the product itself is great. I have all the sizes and so does my sister, and we use them all the time. (I was trying to buy a medium one for my niece, but she will end up with two larges... I wonder if you could just cut them down!!??)

Use as lid on kitchen scraps container Jun 06, 2010 I bought one of those big rubbermaid pitchers (2gal?) and this lid fits perfectly on it. I then throw kitchen scraps into the pitcher and fill it up putting this lid on top. The lid pushes down inside the top of the pitcher and creates a perfect seal - keeping the smell out. It works great. I LOVE IT.

A Must Have in the Kitchen Jan 30, 2009 I own all sizes of these silicone lids.
Beats plastic wrap everytime.
Great for microwave or refrigerator.
They are a little expensive but well worth the price
since I use them all the time.

Totally works - great stocking stuffer Sep 28, 2008 My first endorsement of anything. This lid totally works, my kids loved them when they came to visit, so they are all getting them in their Christmas stockings!

It seals much better than the Silicine Zone Easy lid. Aug 31, 2008 It seals much better than the Silicine Zone Easy lid. Initially I was put off by the heavy 'Handle" but it is great for depressing the center to get the air out. It is OK with (and designed for) bowls with a smaller diameter than the lid, and for the lid to hang over the edge. You can actually lift it by the lid. I was really looking for the kind with the stretch edge that fits around the bowl so I can take food to work. I happened that two of my bowls were slightly larger and the lid fits inside and forms a seal, but sometimes it leaks and I get salad dressing spilled inside my lunch bag. Unfortunately the kind I want is seldom available.
