 Excellent flatware at an excellent price. Sep 06, 2010
This flatware is beautiful, serviceable, contemporary and feels good in your hand. (An architect friend suggested that the "feels good" be a criterion for choosing flatware.) I read some of the negative reviews and haven't seen ANY of the product failures that others have seen. I would be proud to use these pieces at the fanciest of dinner parties and am really happy to use them every day.

I have a set of Oneida Mooncrest for four, and I ordered this set to have more place settings. My original set was made in Indonesia in May 2010, and it is wonderful. It has a nice heavy hand. It is elegant enough to be used for a fancy dinner, yet plain enough to be used for every day. The set I ordered from Amazon.com was made in China in February 2009. Some pieces have pocks in the metal. Some pieces of the same type - ie. salad forks, dinner spoons - are different sizes, thicknesses, and shapes. I didn't even unpack all the pieces because I was so disappointed. I think it is because of poor quality control in the manufacturing location. (The location and date of manufacture is stamped on the back of the pieces.) The packaging says the pieces were manufactured in China, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and/or USA. I think I will be returning the set I got through Amazon.com.

This is a fantastic product. I can't believe I got such a quality 45 piece set for the price. The pieces are the perfect weight: not too light, not too heavy. They wash up beautifully, either by hand or in the dishwasher. The design is simple and beautiful, even sleeker than the photo. If it is still available, snap it up!

Not sure why this product go so many good reviews. I took one fork out of the box and decided to send the set back. The fork tines were not finished well on the inside edges and the end was blunt and rough.

Wonderful May 29, 2010
I have had this flatware for over a year and we use it everyday. I do throw them into the dishwasher everyday. My only problem is when the teenager comes home from college the flatware seems to gradually disappear. :) So I will be buying more. Quality wise it still looks great. A couple of the knives don't quite look new but I attribute that to the teenagers not the flatware. I will be buyimg this again because I get compliments all the time. Great product that does what it is supposed to do. Makes my table look great and feels good in my hand.
