 Great value, attractive - Oneida is hard to beat. Apr 05, 2010
I've bought several sets of Oneida's "Flight" stainless-steel flatware over the years and have been extremely happy with their utility and durability. Over time, it seems all flatware that used used daily (especially by children) seems to warp and change its shape a bit - notably spoons. While this is true in the case of "Flight" as well, I do find that the spoons tend to hold their shape longer than others I've seen and used. While we have had to buy replacements over the years it has always been because of loss rather than damage. I don't know what peculiar magic children work to make flatware disappear but I have always been glad that this design has continued to be manufactured by Oneida so that I could replenish my silverware drawer!

When I go shopping on the internet, I always check with Amazon.com first. I usually buy my tableware at Kohl's. but our local store, did not have my pattern, so I found it on Amazon for a very good price. Ordered it and received it in a few days!

very nice looking silverware Oct 31, 2009
i got this set on sale for forty dollars a year ago, and the price has not dropped back that low since then, I would like to buy another set as a gift but cant bring myself to pay a hundred dollars(last time I checked). I noticed prices on amazon this year are not as aggressive as they have been in the past, either way the silverware is loved by all friends and family..

Off on on over the years, I've purchased Oneida, as well as other brands of silverware. One of the things I'm coming to detest is that they all seem to tarnish in the dishwasher, in particular the knives, from the very first use. I've now had these since Jan 2009, and they are no different.
On the plus side, the weight is not bad, though I'm not convinced they are as well balanced as some of the other lines by Oneida and the design is sufficiently simple for my particular taste.

This is a great set if you need a serving set. I would have preferred a large serving knife, as in other Oneida sets, but this is minor. I recommend it.
